The doctors have everything under control. You are safe here. We know you took something. We know you took a lot but we need you to remember that this is happening. This is real. We are here to help.

The water eventually submerges your chest, splashing under your chin, gyrating your body with the rhythm of the abyss. You find yourself completely relaxed, letting it happen, allowing the water to move you with your toes caressing the ocean floor. It's only when you notice the chill of wind between your knees and up your spine that you refocus. You experience a moment of terror, watching the the water recede back revealing a giant tidal wave on the horizon.
